Neighborhood Center Hub
Balat, İstanbul

One of the oldest settlements in Istanbul's historical peninsula, Balat still has its own unique character. Neighborhood itself has a different pattern than most of the Turkish neighborhoods because of its heterogeneous cultural knit of tenants and house owners who came from other countries and different religions.
Balat has people from muslim, jewish, Greek orthodox, Armenian presbyterian churches.
For all of those who are residents at Balat, I proposed a neighborhood network that contains 3 buildings to connect people with different uses.
